Nexora Technologies Ltd. ("Nexora," "we," "our," or "us") operates a digital task and micro-work marketplace at joinnexora.online and related mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: email address, full name, date of birth, country of residence
  • Profile information: profile photo, skills, preferred task categories
  • Payment information: bank account details, mobile money numbers, crypto wallet addresses (stored encrypted)
  • Identity verification: government-issued ID documents (processed by our KYC partner, not stored directly by Nexora)
  • Task submissions: content, screenshots, or data you submit as part of completing tasks
  • Communications: messages sent to our support team

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
  • Usage data: pages visited, tasks viewed and completed, time spent on platform
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy for details

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your Nexora account
  • To match you with appropriate tasks based on your skills and location
  • To process and pay your earnings in USD
  • To verify your identity and prevent fraud
  • To communicate platform updates, new task types, and payment confirmations
  • To improve platform quality, task accuracy, and user experience
  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations

We do not: sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models without explicit consent.

4. How We Share Your Information

  • Business clients: Task metadata only (e.g., task completion rates). We never share your personal identity with clients without your consent.
  • Payment processors: Payment details shared with regulated payment partners to execute withdrawals
  • KYC providers: Identity documents shared with our verification partner for compliance
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose data when required by Nigerian law, court order, or regulatory authority
  • Service providers: Infrastructure, email, and analytics providers under strict data processing agreements

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, plus 5 years thereafter for financial compliance purposes. Task submission data is retained for 2 years. You may request earlier deletion by contacting privacy@joinnexora.online — subject to legal retention obligations.

6. Your Rights

  • Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Correction: Update inaccurate information in your account settings
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to processing your data for direct marketing purposes

7. Security

We use 256-bit AES encryption for stored sensitive data, TLS 1.3 for all data in transit, and strict access controls internally. We conduct regular security audits. No system is 100% secure — if you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately.

8. Children's Privacy

Nexora is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will remove the account promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and a notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

Terms of Service

Summary: By using Nexora, you agree to complete tasks honestly, not to create fake accounts or use bots, and to be at least 18 years old. We agree to pay you promptly for approved work.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Nexora account or using any Nexora service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Nexora Technologies Ltd.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • You must not be prohibited from using the service under applicable Nigerian or international law
  • You may only maintain one Nexora account. Multiple accounts are grounds for permanent suspension

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Nexora is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised access caused by your failure to secure your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at security@joinnexora.online if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Platform Rules for Workers

You agree to:

  • Complete tasks honestly, accurately, and in good faith
  • Follow all task instructions as provided
  • Submit only your own genuine work
  • Not share tasks, task details, or client information outside the platform
  • Maintain a quality score above the minimum threshold for your account level

You must NOT:

  • Use bots, automation scripts, or AI to complete tasks
  • Create multiple accounts or refer yourself
  • Submit fraudulent, copied, or fabricated work
  • Attempt to game the quality or review system
  • Share your account with another person
  • Attempt to contact business clients outside the platform

Violation of these rules will result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of pending earnings, and may result in legal action where fraud or financial harm is involved.

5. Payments & Earnings

Nexora operates an escrow system — business clients pre-fund tasks before they are made available. Upon approval of your submission, earnings are credited to your USD wallet within 24 hours of review completion.

  • Minimum withdrawal: $5.00
  • Withdrawals are processed via regulated payment partners
  • Nexora deducts no withdrawal fee on standard accounts
  • Rejected submissions do not earn payment unless successfully revised and resubmitted
  • In the event of suspected fraud, earnings may be held pending investigation

6. Intellectual Property

You retain no ownership of task outputs — all work submitted through the platform is the property of the commissioning business client under the terms of their agreement with Nexora. You grant Nexora a perpetual licence to use anonymised task data for platform quality improvement.

The Nexora name, logo, platform design, and technology are the exclusive property of Nexora Technologies Ltd. You may not reproduce, copy, or use them without written permission.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@joinnexora.online. Nexora may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these terms. Upon termination, any pending approved earnings will be paid to your registered withdrawal method within 14 business days. Fraudulently obtained earnings will be forfeited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Nexora's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total earnings credited to your account in the 90 days preceding the claim. Nexora is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the Lagos Court of Arbitration rules, or the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

3. Third-Party Cookies

We use the following third-party services that may place cookies:

  • Plausible Analytics: Privacy-first, cookieless analytics. No personal data collected.
  • Sentry: Error monitoring. Anonymised session data only.
  • Supabase: Authentication sessions. Essential for login functionality.

We do not use: Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tracking, or any third-party advertising cookies. Your browsing activity on Nexora is never shared with advertisers.

4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can control cookies through:

  • Our cookie banner: Shown on first visit. You can change preferences at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer.
  • Your browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note: blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
  • Email request: Contact privacy@joinnexora.online to request deletion of all analytics data associated with your account.

5. Do Not Track

We respect Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. When DNT is enabled, we disable all optional analytics cookies automatically.

6. Updates to This Policy

We will update this policy if we add or change cookie usage. Changes will be communicated via the platform. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.

Refund Policy

Nexora Technologies Ltd.
Effective: June 1, 2025

Summary: Workers are always paid for approved work. Businesses may request refunds for unstarted or undelivered tasks. We handle disputes fairly and transparently.

1. For Workers (Earning Users)

Nexora does not charge workers any fees, so there is nothing to refund. Your concerns as a worker are:

Non-payment for completed work

If your task submission is approved and the earnings are not credited to your wallet within 48 hours, contact support@joinnexora.online with your task ID. We will investigate and resolve within 5 business days.

Disputed rejection

If you believe your submission was incorrectly rejected, you have 7 days from the rejection notice to raise a dispute. Submit a detailed appeal to support@joinnexora.online. Our review team will re-evaluate within 5 business days. If the appeal is upheld, your earnings will be credited within 24 hours.

Worker protection guarantee: If a task is cancelled by the client after you have begun work, you are entitled to a pro-rated payment for the verified portion completed, provided you have completed at least 20% of the task.

2. For Business Clients

Businesses pre-fund tasks through our escrow system. The following refund conditions apply:

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email billing@joinnexora.online with:

  • Your account email address
  • The task ID or invoice number
  • The reason for your refund request
  • Any supporting evidence (screenshots, task descriptions)

We acknowledge all refund requests within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 10 business days.

4. Fraudulent Earnings

If an investigation confirms that a worker's earnings were obtained fraudulently (via bots, multiple accounts, or fabricated submissions), those earnings are forfeited. In serious cases, Nexora may pursue recovery through legal channels. Businesses are notified if fraudulent completions affect their tasks and compensated appropriately.

5. Currency & Processing

All refunds are issued in USD to the original payment source. Currency conversion losses resulting from exchange rate changes between payment and refund date are the responsibility of the requesting party. Bank or processing fees applied by third-party payment providers are non-refundable.

6. Escalation

If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of a refund decision, you may escalate to our Head of Operations at disputes@joinnexora.online. Escalated disputes are reviewed by a senior team member within 7 business days. Nexora's decision following escalation is final.
